Hello CSA members past and present!
We hope you have been enjoying winter. An amazing amount of snow has melted at the farm in the past few weeks, and spring appears to be right around the corner. The CSA sign has been in full swing since January 1st, and we wanted to update you on the status.
As of today, we have 134 members signed up out of a total of 200 available spots. As always, our CSA operates on a first-come, first -served basis, so a timely sign up is important to get your spot, and being a member last year does not guarantee you a spot this year. Case in point, we have noticed that of the 134 sign-ups, 54 of them are new customers. While there is always some turn-over of members each year, we typically retain about 75% of our members from year to year (50 new members per year). So, if you’re good at math, that means that new members have already soaked up the 25% turn-over, and existing members are at risk of missing out. Which would be sad if you still wanted a CSA share. (just a note, the West Glacier contingent is especially small so far). The early bird discount is still available until March 15th, and you can sign up at twobearfarm.com
