We hope this email finds you wintering well! I know it’s hard to think about fresh vegetables as we are still in the midst of winter, but spring is “just” around the corner 🙂 So, this is a heads-up to let you know that the 2016 CSA is now open for enrollment on our website twobearfarm.com or click here.The sign-up period began January 1st and will remain open until we reach our quota, which is typically some time in April. However, to entice you to sign up early, we offer an “early bird” discount for anyone who signs up before March 15th. Prices are remaining the same for yet another season (so much for inflation!) Full shares are $525 with early bird discount) / $550 without. Partial shares are are $350 w/ discount/$365 w/out early bird discount.
This year we are excited to improve our CSA even more by focusing on the items that you love (carrots, beets, and salad), and less on the ones you don’t (bok choi, peppers, cabbage). Also, we are offering a Plant CSA again this year for anyone who wants to grow their own garden but doesn’t have access to a greenhouse or organic plant starts. Not to be confused with our main CSA, the Plant CSA provides you the opportunity to purchase vegetable plants of your own choosing which we then raise for you in our greenhouse until they are ready to be planted in your own garden.
